Any news about the update for React Router v6??
Any update on removing the import of witRouter from the index file for react-router in v6. I am using the useNavigate hook well but this error has given me headche
Really excited for this.
I’m experiencing a ton of routing bugs with the current react ionic router.
Thanks!
Hi @ldebeasi ! Is there any update on the ETA of this react router 6 update? Thanks in advance.
Hey @ldebeasi this is exciting. It’s been a while since this last update. Could you give us another? Doesn’t need to include an ETA, our dev team (and many others it seems) just need a sense of direction for planning and projection. Thank you!
Hey everyone! I don’t have an ETA at the moment. One thing the team is exploring is a temporary compatibility layer so devs can start testing Ionic with React Router 6. We don’t know if/when this will ship, but we think it could be beneficial. We’ve had a few adjustments to the roadmap made as a result of the OutSystems acquisition, but there’s still interest in getting this done. I will note I don’t manage the project roadmap anymore, but the engineering team and I are doing our best to advocate for prioritizing this work
.
Hey any progress?
React router 6 is not necessarily the problem but the fact that are many bugs (at least 3) that making the life of working with ionic react router harder ![]()
We migrated from ionic angular to react and we are very disappointed from the router solution.
More over it’s the most upvoted issue in your repo, and it’s been like this for a very long time, I’m not so sure it’s going to happen anymore to be honest, and I love ionic but a little bit disappointed ![]()
In case you missed it ![]()
Hey there,
Sorry to hear the routing integration has been giving you trouble. I don’t work for Ionic anymore, so I don’t have any updates regarding this initiative.
I’d recommend filing issues on GitHub for the bugs you are encountering (if they don’t exist already). If there are issues that already exist you can try upvoting them or providing reproduction cases for the team. I’m sure the team would love additional help if you are interested in contributing fixes too!
