# Ionic intellisense for VS

Does anyone know how I can get intellisense for my Ionic project in VS or VS Code?

You could use Typescript rather than plain JS with type definitions from [https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped](https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped)

I suppose this is what is done by such starters as:
