Ionic App with Azure Mobile Services rejected for using OAuth

I’ve seen a decent number of people post here regarding Azure Mobile Services so I just wanted to partly ask a question and also give a heads up for anyone else who might be able to avoid landing in the same boat.

My app was rejected for using the built in AMS OAuth. I had it set up so they could login through Facebook, Google, and Twitter and it was rejected for that. They said:
"17.2: Apps that require users to share personal information, such as email address and date of birth, in order to function will be rejected

Thank you for explaining why you are using Facebook login to authenticate users. We agree that this is useful, but the Guidelines require that the app have functionality related to the social network. Sharing to the user’s page is not considered sufficient functionality. "

Has anybody successfully submitted an app using AWS and OAuth?
