Ionic and Ipad 3 performance?

I built an ionic application that works really great on iPhone 5/6 (very fast). (iphone 4S too but a little slower especially in transition page effect and its “poor” javascript engine compared to 5 and 6).

I’ve just tested on my Ipad 3, and it’s really slow.
I use iOS 8.

My question is: Is it due to Ipad 3 Javascript performance or ionic isn’t really adapted to run on ipads?

I’ve just managed to grab an Ipad 4 and test the app on it.
Works great.

Indeed, iPad4 has a very powerful (like iPhone 5) Javascript engine.
