Ionic 1 : Delay in ionic alpha indexed list with large items

Hi,

Below is my ion list, I have around 700 items in my list. I have a HOME Screen, there I have button to redirect to list, when I tap on that button, it took 5 seconds to redirect and display LIST Screen. Can someone please help me out, I wanna show this list as a dropdown :
