# Ion-content scroll to bottom with standalone component

Hi!

I am having an issue, trying to scroll the content to bottom while component is not full height. Perfect example is facebook chat-like. I have multiple conversations opened and when I load all the messages, I want to scroll to the bottom. That works only if I set the root on navigation for that component, I put the #id to the ion-content element and from the code call the scrollToBottom() for that Content. But when I have these conversations opened in the right bottom corner like facebook has it, then scrollToBottom() does not work. Is there any other solution for that?
