Install and run Ionic Lab in Ubuntu 14.04

I just downloaded the IonicLab-linux-x64.tar.gz and unzipped it. I can see an executable file named IonicLab. When I double click it, and use make executable and run option I get nothing. No GUI pop up or similar. The whole system is idle. What to do ? Help please…
