<input type="time"> / <input type="date"> is horribly slow?

Hi guys,

i have used for my application to call the native timepicker. When i start the app for the first time and click on the input field, the timepicker shows up 5 seconds after i clicked. When i close it and reopen it again, its fast as it should.

Is there any way to initialize load the timepicker? Is there any way to speed this up?

I am testing it on iPhone 6s with iOs 9.2.1

I have exactly the same issue. I am testing it on a Nexus 5 with Android 5.1.1. Does anybody know a solution for this?
