I want to list contacts, which I thought would be very easy, but a week has passed and I can´t get it to work.

I follow the instructions on the documentation: https://ionicframework.com/docs/native/contacts/
Yet it does not work. Does it work for anybody?
All examples I found were outdated and I couldn’t make them work.
