How to trigger a CSS ANIMATION in a ionic button?

Does anyone have an example there?

i have this line guys.

ion-icon name=“md-thumbs-up” /ion-icon

I want when I click on the icon I trigger a css animation on the same icon.

i gonna use this effect:
