How to hide tabbar when typing in textfield

Hi,

Maybe this question was already asked but somehow I couldn’t find a solution.
When typing in a textfield, I’d like to hide the tab bar. The image included shows the (undesired) situation now.

Has anyone figured this out with typing in a textfield?

How would one go about this? Maybe when the focus is on the textfield, hide the tabs?
