How to have multiple tab views loaded into the DOM at app startup

I have an app with three tabs. Content in the second tab is dynamically generated when the user takes certain actions from the first tab. But, I’ve found that I’m getting errors that my DIVs in the second tab are null (not created yet I’m assuming). That is, unless I first navigate to the second tab, then go back to the first tab. Then it works fine. Probably something simple here. I hope. Most of my code is javascript because I’m not that familiar with Angular at all. I just really like ionic UI components. So the Angular portion of my app is really just barebones. Here’s what it looks like:

Essentially, I’d just like all three tabs to be loaded into the DOM right from the start so I can add and remove content dynamically with javascript. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

var myApp = angular.module(‘starter’, [‘ionic’,‘ngCordova’])

myApp.run(function($ionicPlatform) {
  $ionicPlatform.ready(function() {
    // Hide the accessory bar by default (remove this to show the accessory bar above the keyboard
    // for form inputs)
    if(window.cordova && window.cordova.plugins.Keyboard) {
      cordova.plugins.Keyboard.hideKeyboardAccessoryBar(true);
    }
    if(window.StatusBar) {
      StatusBar.styleDefault();
    }

    $cordovaStatusbar.overlaysWebView(true)
    $cordovaStatusbar.styleHex('#4a87ee')
    $ionicConfigProvider.views.forwardCache(true);
  });
});

myApp.config(function($stateProvider, $urlRouterProvider) {

  $stateProvider
    .state('tabs', {
      url: "/tab",
      abstract: true,
      templateUrl: "templates/tabs.html"
    })

    .state('tabs.home', {
      url: "/home",
      views: {
        'home-tab': {
          templateUrl: "templates/home.html",
        }
      }
    })

    .state('tabs.favorites', {
      url: "/favorites",
      views: {
        'favorites-tab': {
          templateUrl: "templates/favorites.html",
        }
      }
    })

    .state('tabs.settings', {
      url: "/settings",
      views: {
        'settings-tab': {
          templateUrl: "templates/settings.html",
        }
      }
    });

   $urlRouterProvider.otherwise("/tab/home");

})
