# How to disable slide gesture?

How can I disable slide gesture to go back to previous page? I just want user to click back if user want to go back to previous page.

in your app.html add

`swipeBackEnabled="false"`

to your ion-nav so it looks like this

`<ion-nav [root]="rootPage" #content swipeBackEnabled="false"></ion-nav>`
