How do I capture screen for demo purposes?

I want to record the screen for demo purposes. I have an android

I will prefer to capture from the raw device not HTML so I can make use of the native device features

ADB is capable of doing this, and many devices have some sort of power-volume-cokebottle button combination to stash the screenshot on device so that it can be retrieved later.
