I couldn’t solve anything. Perhaps someone more experience could try it, as I’m fairly new to Ionic, Cordova, and generally mobile web applications development. Sorry dudes!
In case anyone is still looking for a way to login with Twitter using the account on a user’s phone, I created a [plugin to do native Twitter login] (https://github.com/ManifestWebDesign/twitter-connect-plugin).
Along with the official Facebook plugin we successfully integrated both native login methods.
