Google Plus App Style Tile Animation

We can see beautiful effect for when users scroll through feeds in Google Plus mobile app. When I googled for similar animation that can be added to ionic card, I found:

In the above URLs, its has dependency of jquery plugin called Appear. Can anyone make this work with angularJS or ionic?

In theory you can use this directive to “know” if the dom is visible in the view port and if does just use the ng-class

it would probably look like
