Maybe just put a sticky bold-ish header in the main forum page. Something in the lines of:

- Try searching the forum by words you’re interested in.
- Search among existing open or closed issues in the GitHub repos.
- Repeat 1 and/or 2 couple of times.
- If still no luck, create a new topic/post and we’ll be more than happy to follow through
