In ionic4 I have a class “Logger” with static methods.
One method does send an event:

```auto
if (!Logger.event) {
    Logger.event = new Events();
}
Logger.event.publish("log:added");
```

Unfortunately, on my home-page I never receive this event.
Subscribed with:

```auto
this.events.subscribe("logger", synchronisationinfo => {
      console.log("Event received");
    });
```

Any idea why I can’t receive the event?

I don’t see enough information here to answer the question definitively, but if those are Ionic Events, they’re deprecated and I would suggest replacing this whole thing with something based on `Observable`s, which may hopefully have the beneficial side effect of fixing your problem.

Yes, I use Ionic Events. Thanks for your reply.

Good to know that they are deprecated. I will have a look at Observables
