Edit text box

Hi,

I am very new to ionic and ionic forums so bear with me.

I am making a social media like app for a project in school. Users have a profile where they have things like ‘about me’ and ‘interests’… that kind of stuff.

I am wondering how to make it so that I can click a button next to the ‘about me’ paragraph, and have the text come up in a text box which I can edit, then repost the new edited text.

Any and all help appreciated.

place the text box over a paragraph which will be initially hide using ng-hide = {{ paragrpahTextDisplayFlag }} attribute with binding of paragraph text. in controller write a function for a button click in the definition of function add statement $scope.paragrpahTextDisplayFlag = false; should solve your problem.
