I just stumble upon that “-ios7” animation css class nav-title-slide-ios7 and I am building for android …
Ionic in my browser is so fast I can not see transitions 
I am not complaining I know I should probably “run” Ionic instead of “serve” to see how it looks on android.
I think the animation is just in the ios7 style, so it mimicks the transition you might see in native ios apps. I think you could safely use it in android applications, but that it might look less native because you are implementing an ios transisition in your android app 
(not everyone cares about this though)
