# Disable side menu completely

I have created a grid row menu for my app, and I would like to completetly disable the side menu from my app.  
And also replace the menu icon from the nav bar to a home button, which will return the user to the main home page.  
How can I do that?

If your app is not very big, start again with a non-sidemenu starter and add your code.  
How to add a button to the navbar on the top left should be pretty clear in the docs. Did you look?
