Custom nav bar title is overridden after side menu transition

#1

I followed https://github.com/driftyco/ionic-starter-sidemenu to add a side menu to my app.

Here is my side menu:

<ion-side-menus enable-menu-with-back-views="true" class="side-menus">
  <ion-side-menu-content>
    <ion-nav-bar>
      <ion-nav-back-button></ion-nav-back-button>
      <ion-nav-buttons side="right">
        <button class="button button-icon ion-navicon menu-button" menu-toggle="left"></button>
      </ion-nav-buttons>
      <ion-nav-title>
        <img src="img/logo_black.png">
      </ion-nav-title>
    </ion-nav-bar>
    <ion-nav-view name="menu"></ion-nav-view>
  </ion-side-menu-content>

  <ion-side-menu side="left">
    <ion-header-bar class="bar-stable">
      <h1 class="title">Menu</h1>
    </ion-header-bar>
    <ion-content>
      <ion-list>
        <ion-item menu-close ui-sref="menu.home">
          Home
        </ion-item>
        ... other items ...
        <ion-item menu-close ng-click="logOut()">
          Log out
        </ion-item>
      </ion-list>
    </ion-content>
  </ion-side-menu>
</ion-side-menus>

I faced a lot of issues with side menus which I’m trying to resolve, and one of them is:

If I go from any state to one of the menu states via $state.go('menu.someState') the nav bar title doesn’t update and doesn’t show the custom image title. Instead of it I see the title of the previous state.

What am I doing wrong?
