I’m using the latest version of this plugin (4.1.7).
Ionic Live Deploy on iOS for my debug builds doesn’t ask me if I want the live-deploy code version, even when WARN_DEBUG is set to true. At one point in time, it did ask me if I wanted the most recent version whenever I ran a debug build (I clicked yes and downloaded the latest code each time), but the alert went away since then, even when WARN_DEBUG isn’t set to false.
I have tried deleting the app from my phone and removing this plugin, and then re-adding the plugin and creating another build. I have also tried removing the iOS platform completely and re-adding it. None of that fixed the issue.
As a work-around, I tried manually changing the config.xml properties of the plugin. I changed update_method to none and max_store to 0 in order to try to stop the download:
<plugin name="cordova-plugin-ionic" spec="^4.1.7"> <variable name="APP_ID" value="xxxxxxx" /> <variable name="CHANNEL_NAME" value="Production" /> <variable name="UPDATE_METHOD" value="none" /> <variable name="WARN_DEBUG" value="true" /> <variable name="UPDATE_API" value="https://api.ionicjs.com" /> <variable name="MAX_STORE" value="0" /> </plugin>
but that did not stop the code from getting downloaded.
I suspect this may be a caching issue. Any help would be appreciated
