Cannot install update Android

Hey all,

I released version 8.0.0 of my app on the Google play store. Anyone who goes to update their app to the newest version gets a message after the update loads saying “Can’t install update” with A Google link with troubleshooting steps to here. My app is about ~14mb in size. How do I even figure out where to start looking to fix this issue?

They can get the app update to work by uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.

Maybe something wonky happened for that specific build on your end or Google’s end? Have you tried uploading a new build?
