Can I customize the checkbox icon?

Hi,

is there a way to customize the checkbox icon to, for example, use ion-ios7-checkmark?

Right now, you would have to do some deep css hacking to do this. But you can open a feature request to allow the dev to declare the icon-type for check box

Cool, thanks for the prompt reply. I guess I could also simulate the checkbox with a button/icon and using onTap() to change state from check to checked, right?

Well right now, it’s been moved to our trello board as something we’re considering post 1.0.
