Calling cordova plugin after the resume event on an iOS device will cause a plugin_not_installed error

In the Resume event processing, the getVersionNumber method of cordova-plugin-app-version is called.
When I suspend my app for a few hours, I sometimes get a plugin_not_installed error.
It is called in the platform.ready method in the initial processing of the application, and it works fine.
In the suspended state, I think the cordova object is stored in memory.
Why do I get a plugin_not_installed error?

document.addEventListener(
    'resume',
    () =>
    this.zone.run(() => {
        this.appVersion.getVersionNumber();
    }),
    false
);
