# Brand New To Ionic | Tips On What Kind of App To Make First

Hello all,

I am brand new to Ionic and I absolutely love it! I have really been digging into the templates and learning the documentation over the past week.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for someone who has never made an app before. I have lots of experience with web development just not apps. What should I try to build first? Something to kind of get me learning the fastest.
