# Bluetooth background service

Hi guys,  
We are stuck with a problem regarding bluetooth scanning and Ionic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We need to create a native background service which does bluetooth scanning for beacons. Once it detects a beacon with the correct namespace the service must show a notification or launch the ionic app in the background to take over.

Any ideas how to accomplish this?
