there is a problem with the clearBadge functionality on Android (and specifically Samsung I think).
A client’s phone, Samsung S7, do not clear the badge on our ionic application, same for the samsung of one of our co-workers. I have no problem on my iPhone SE : badges are cleared when I launch the application as intended and I do not have any badge on my OnePlus X (and never had any).
I’ve heard Android implemented badges since Oreo but my co-worker’s phone is Android 6.0.1 as mine. So I deduce it is the samsung layer that is doing this right ?
Is there a possibility to clear those badges or does our client need to clear them manually ?
