# Android background Push Notifications

Hey,

I’m using the Push notifications plugin, and I have a problem on Android devices:  
When the app is opened, the push notification event is being triggered.  
But when the app is closed, nothing happens.

In iOS both work.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi @danielgolubavailo did you manage to get this to work? I’m having same problem.
