Is the ActionSheet meant to slide up, or fade in?
@gregorypratt good point. In that demo it is certainly fading in. In the docs, the Action sheet really slides up : http://ionicframework.com/docs/angularjs/views/action-sheet/
@adam Is there a setting for the animation on an action sheet?
